Where the wild things are

And by wild, I mean me. I’m going to be off around Brogo and Bega for the next week, with pretty poor and infrequent internet connection. So, don’t be surprised if things go a bit quiet around here and Twitter and Facebook over the next week or so.

Of course, I can’t handle being away from the net for too long, so I’ll take my laptop with me. And I’ll have my iPhone, naturally. In truth, there’s every chance that no one would even notice my absence, depending on mobile reception where we’ll be.

However, should things go a bit quiet, that’s why. Hopefully, given the peace and quiet, I’ll get some writing done. And certainly some reading. Be good while I’m away.

What are you working on? Short story? novella? novel? Looking forward to your next piece.

I’ve been working on a couple of short stories, which are almost ready to go out. I’m also plotting the next Ghost Of The Black novella, but it’ll be a while before I get around to actually writing that, I think. Otherwise I’m working on a new novel. I’ve got about the first 10,000 words down, but I need to dedicate some time to it properly. So much to do, so little time!

Enjoy your break. Are you “biking” it or did you have to use the boring car instead?

  4. Alan on October 20, 2009 at 9:21 pm

No, boring car sadly. However, that’s because the hound is joining us this time, which is very cool.

Well, we’ll miss you! Well, I’ll miss you at least til November when I’m going crazy doing Nanowrimo. No chance you’re working on that too, eh? LOL

  6. Alan on October 22, 2009 at 2:52 pm

No, I won’t be doing that. I’ll hopefully get close to the Nanowrimo word count anyway if I keep my head down!

Do I HAVE to be good?

  9. Alan on October 23, 2009 at 4:19 pm

If you can’t be good, be careful.

Be good? Where’s the fun in that?
