Ice hot but no sparrows

I was down at Jervis Bay recently, on the NSW South Coast. Arguably one of the most beautiful places in the world. I saw this BBQ Chicken shop there and was pretty fascinated by the bold sign in the window.

ICE HOT

No further explanation. Perhaps they’re trying to start a word game with clientele. Still, they obviously have a sense of humour. Have a look at the small print, just above the ICE HOT sign. Here, I’ll help out the myopic:

NO SPARROWS ALLOWED IN SHOP OR WILL BE PROSECUTED

Poor sparrows. I suppose I can see their point, but I can’t help wondering if it isn’t discrimination. What about the sparrows that come in with money, genuinely wanting to buy a BBQ Chicken? Would that be a type of cannibalism? Oh yes, I ask the questions no one really cares about.
