Busy, busy, busy

So I was hoping to update things here a bit more often, but I haven’t. No excuses. I’ve been too busy enjoying my holiday and catching up with old friends and family, so I’m sure you all understand.

The trip around Scotland was truly awesome, especially as my wife had never been before. Cornwall and Devon as beautiful as ever, and the company superb. My old hometown has been excellent, seeing so many old faces and carrying on like no time at all has passed. That, as far as I’m concerned, is the true definition of friendship.

Now we’re done with the UK part of the trip and are up before the sparrows tomorrow to catch a flight to Rome. We’ll have a few days seeing the architectural wonders of that city (where neither of us have been before) and then head back to Sydney next weekend.

So, after next weekend, you can expect my usual internet presence to be back in full force. I’m sure you’ve all enjoyed the recent peace and quiet. In the meantime, I leave you with the best picture of a sheep I’ve ever taken.

  1. Thanks! Seriously, those sheep were hanging onto the cliff, sticking out at 45 degrees and wandering around as casual as you like.

  2. I look forward to your return along with the rest of the folks that frequent your website. However, don’t forget to make the most of the rest of your holiday while you are still in the UK. Also, make sure that you post plenty of photos when you get back. This includes the more unusual cuisine and some of the critters that we might not see in Australia. 😀
