So I get this email from Amazon, offering me a selection of books I might be interested in.
You know what, Amazon? I am quite interested in that book. But not as a reader. Because I wrote it!
Still, at least Amazon are doing a good job. Kinda.

They often send me book recommendations for books that I have reviewed…on Amazon :/
They’re doing it wrong.
At least they’re not sending you notices for books someone plagiarized from you.
I interested to buy it…hehehhehe
I’m wondering if they deliberately recommend people their own books. My book was recommended to me and I know someone else who had the same thing happen.
What are the odds, that out of the millions of books available on Amazon, that many people get their on stuff sent to them?
Interesting. The question then becomes: Why?
So people think that amazon is giving them a helping hand…
All I know is that I didn’t see any increase in sales afterwards.
