Continuum this weekend

Things might be a bit quiet around here for the next few days as I’m off to the Continuum convention in Melbourne.

I’ll be on a panel at 2pm on Saturday with four other fine members of the Australian Horror Writers’ Association, talking about what still scares us in this modern age. There’s loads of other stuff going on all weekend too, so check program on the website and come along to join in the fun. Wave me down for a chat if you like, I’m a friendly guy most of the time.

I won’t have much access to the net as I’m not going to take my laptop with me this weekend. It’s an exercise in independence and I’m already trembling as I type this. Being without my computer for three days is going to have me crawling up the walls like a crack addict stranded in an isolated island convent. But it’ll be good for me, I’m sure.

I will, of course, have my phone with me and I’ll be sure to tweet interesting bits and pieces as they happen. I won’t be able to check replies or direct messages very often though, so don’t take offence if I don’t get back to you. Follow me on Twitter to keep up with what’s happening at Continuum.

Look forward to seeing some of you there.

The panel sounds really exciting but I’ll be in a socialist conference tomorrow at Melbourne University so I’ll miss out on a lot of the fun – whilst having my own kind of fun.

    See you on Twitter.
