Have you ever wondered if shows with a premise as simple and mindless as Jackass have any real underlying meaning? Is there something deeper than the obvious male-bonding tomfoolery, with violence at every turn and a strange penchant for men inserting things into their bodies?

Well, the answer is no. There’s not. And if you ever doubted it, take it straight from the horses mouth. Or arse.

“A lot of original ideas for [us] start out in fella-on-fella porno. We just take the redeeming erotic value out of it and make it pure gross-out.”

You have to love his honesty.

Welcome to the website of author Alan Baxter.

I write dark fantasy, sci fi and horror, ride a motorcycle and love my dog. I also teach Kung Fu, hence the Warrior Scribe tag above. A friend once referred to me that way and I liked it, so it stuck. Learn all about me and my work by clicking About Alan just below the header.
